Heronwood Farm

Heronwood Farm was home to a world renowned
Thoroughbred breeding operation for over 15 years. The farm encompasses nearly one square mile of pristine
rolling countryside. Today, Heronwood boards horses, has a successful polo team and is home to a colorful herd of
over 60 Huacaya Alpacas originating from Peru, Bolivia and Chile. Heronwood’s Yearling barn, open to the public
only for this special event, was featured in the book “Ultimate Horse Barns” by Randy Leffingwell. This barn “redefined
the Horse Barn.” Visitors to the Alpaca area will be able to watch a hand spinner making yarn from the Alpaca’s fiber,
view and purchase beautiful products also made from the Alapaca’s fiber, and see all the animals in a rainbow of colors.
There will be knowledgeable persons available at each area to answer any questions. Do not miss
this opportunity to see a world-class facility! Please visit Heronwood’s informative website at www.heronwoodfarm.com.
